Earth Tones Pottery

Each piece of this pottery is made from stoneware clay on the potter's wheel. This functional pottery is safe for the dishwasher, oven or microwave. It is done in 4 different glazes in order to create the gradual shading effect. The wood ash glaze is made from ash saved from the wood stove the artist uses to heat her home. This glaze is sprayed over the other glazes to create the unusual dripping tree like effect.
